Dave Herold joined C&F Bank in December 2021 and specializes in C&I and CRE lending. After graduating from the University of Virginia in 1982, he spent 5 years in Florida with Southeast Bank, where he completed their year-long “money-center bank” credit training program. He returned to Virginia and spent 15 years with Central Fidelity Bank, later to become Wachovia Bank. He temporarily left banking for a 12-year stint in the building industry in Northern Virginia, where he served as a Project Manager and Department Supervisor. The 12-year commute up I-95 from Fredericksburg to Northern Virginia was a challenge, and in 2013, he returned to banking in Fredericksburg, spending 9 years with Virginia Community Bank later to become Blue Ridge Bank, before joining C&F. He has been a resident of Fredericksburg for the past 23 years. He met his wife Tammye during his early days in Florida, and has been married for 34 years, with 3 kids, Colby, Taylor and Lawson. He is a member of the Fredericksburg Rotary Club where he is slated to become President next year. He is also on the Board of the Spotsylvania Lions Club. He loves golf and snow skiing and is an avid cycling enthusiast. His favorite trek is the 52-mile Capital Bike Trail from Richmond to Jamestown and he readily admits that he preaches ad nauseum to anyone who will listen to him about the incredible benefits of cycling.

David A. Howard is the Senior Commercial Real Estate Executive of the Central Virginia market for C&F Bank. Dave has over 30 years’ experience at national and community banks, commercial mortgage and investment banking firms including most recently at TowneBank, Atlantic Mortgage Capital and SunTrust Robinson Humphrey. His expertise includes portfolio management, sourcing and arranging construction, bridge and permanent/CMBS debt as well as mezzanine debt and equity to complete the capital stack for commercial real estate developers and investors. Dave is a member of the Richmond Real Estate Group, current member and former President of The Greater Richmond Association of Commercial Real Estate (GRACRE), member of the Virginia Commonwealth University Real Estate Circle of Excellence and is current Chairman of the Board of Directors of Virginia Voice. He also holds a Virginia Real Estate Brokers license. He attended The Ohio State University, has a BBA in Finance and Real Estate from the University of Texas/Arlington and post graduate classes through the Appraisal Institute and VCU. Dave has two grown children and one grandchild. He enjoys boating and fishing, snow skiing, hiking, golf, live music and travel.

Tim Jones is Vice President and Commercial Relationship Manager with C&F Bank. He specializes in banking relationships with residential homebuilders and developers, as well as commercial investment property managers and developers. Tim joined the C&F team in 2010, where he started his banking career in commercial credit underwriting and portfolio management, with a focus on real estate lending. He has a strong attention for detail and works hard to build productive relationships with his clients. He is also an associate member of the Homebuilding Association of Richmond. Tim resides in Richmond with his wife, Diana, and daughter, Madeline, and is a graduate of Virginia Tech, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in management. Outside of work, Tim enjoys traveling, playing golf, going to live music shows, and spending time with family and friends.

William V. Krebs, Jr. is the Regional President of the Central Virginia market for C&F Bank. William has over 20 years of experience in real estate finance and banking, working most recently for Fulton Bank as the City Executive and Senior Vice President of the Charlottesville market for the last 10 years. William’s core business philosophy revolves around relationship banking, integrity and becoming a key advisor and asset for many of his new and long-term clients. He specializes in income-producing multi-family, CRE, OORE, Historic and LITC tax credit transactions as well as A&D and builder facilities for A-level clients. A graduate of the University of Virginia and 25-year resident of Charlottesville, William is extremely active in the University of Virginia Children’s Hospital and Charlottesville Day School. Amanda serves as a Senior Commercial Executive for the Charlottesville market. She maintains an excellent reputation as a successful, energetic banker with over 17 years of experience in Charlottesville. Amanda began her banking career while pursuing a Business Management/Finance degree at Virginia Tech. Upon her graduation from Virginia Tech in 2002, she relocated to Charlottesville and began working for BB&T where she flourished in various Commercial, Small Business and Retail leadership roles for over eleven years.
